UAE motorists are paying less for petrol and diesel in November after the latest monthly fuel price adjustment. Announced on October 31, the revised rates took effect on November 1, 2026.
All three petrol grades fell by AED 0.24 per litre compared with October. Diesel recorded a smaller reduction of AED 0.05 per litre.
The adjustment lowers refuelling costs for residents and businesses, although the financial benefit depends on fuel type and consumption. Petrol users receive a larger saving per litre than diesel users.
The approved prices are:
Fuel type | November price | October price | Monthly reduction |
|---|---|---|---|
Super 98 | AED 4.16 | AED 4.40 | AED 0.24 |
Special 95 | AED 4.04 | AED 4.28 | AED 0.24 |
E-Plus 91 | AED 3.97 | AED 4.21 | AED 0.24 |
Diesel | AED 4.75 | AED 4.80 | AED 0.05 |
All figures are per litre.
Calculated against October’s prices, the reductions equal approximately 5.45% for Super 98, 5.61% for Special 95 and 5.70% for E-Plus 91. Diesel fell by approximately 1.04%.
The different percentage changes reflect each fuel grade’s starting price, even though all three petrol grades received the same reduction in fils.
For a 60-litre purchase, the petrol price reduction translates into a saving of AED 14.40 across all three grades.
A 60-litre fill of Special 95 now costs AED 242.40, compared with AED 256.80 in October. The same quantity of Super 98 costs AED 249.60, while E-Plus 91 costs AED 238.20.
For a driver purchasing 240 litres of petrol during the month, the saving would reach AED 57.60 compared with buying the same quantity in October.
Diesel users receive more modest relief. A 60-litre purchase now costs AED 285, down from AED 288. A business consuming 1,000 litres of diesel would save AED 50, assuming unchanged consumption.
These examples illustrate the direct effect of the price adjustment. Actual monthly savings will depend on distance travelled, vehicle efficiency and purchasing volumes.
Lower petrol prices reduce one component of household transport spending. Residents who drive regularly or travel longer distances may see a more noticeable benefit than occasional motorists.
For businesses, the impact depends on how much fuel contributes to operating costs. Companies using petrol-powered vehicles receive a larger reduction per litre, while diesel-dependent operators benefit from a smaller adjustment.
However, lower pump prices do not automatically translate into equivalent reductions in delivery charges, retail prices or other services. Fuel is one of several operating expenses, alongside wages, maintenance, insurance and financing.
The November adjustment therefore offers measurable cost relief without establishing how much businesses will pass on to customers.
The UAE reviews fuel prices monthly under a mechanism linked to global fuel price movements. November’s rates should therefore be treated as the current monthly schedule rather than a forecast for the following month.
For market participants, domestic pump prices and international crude benchmarks also serve different purposes. The approved November rates establish what consumers pay at the pump, while crude prices continue to fluctuate.
The latest reduction provides immediate savings for motorists and some businesses. Whether that relief continues will depend on subsequent monthly pricing decisions, making the next official announcement the key reference for December fuel costs.
